MISSION STATEMENT IOPPS mission is to ensure quality care through education, communication and fellowship. Promote a team concept between the optometric professional and the Paraoptometric assistant. Improve job performance through networking, professional development and educational opportunities.

Dear Current and Future IOPPS Members and IOP Doctors:

I am the current IOPPS President and would like to inform you of some of the benefits of being an IOPPS Member.

IOPPS provides a supportive community network for Paraoptometric members and promotes a team mentality between the Paraoptometric professionals and their staff.

The IOPPS keeps your practice and its employees up to date with changing technology and industrial advances.

Membership provides numerous opportunities for continuing education at both the local and statewide levels.  Our IOPPS Regional Directors work hard to provide quarterly CE classes for each of their regions, which provide the Optometric professional's staff with advocacy and expertise in the field.  Once a year, in the fall, we have our Annual Congress.  Each para that attends Congress leaves with a wealth of knowledge and renewed excitement for their profession.  Being in the IOPPS also entitles the member to a discounted rate for Congress.

In a nutshell, IOPPS membership develops Paraoptometrics that are dedicated, educated and confident in their professions, which in turn gives their practices the opportunity to provide the best vision care possible for their patients.

Feel free to contact me, or any of my fellow IOPPS Board members with any questions you may have or for a membership form today!  We look forward to having you in this incredible organization.

Warm Regards,

Lisa Argo

IOPPS President
